Coaching

We always need parents to coach and if you are interested in coaching, MSA will gladly assist you in getting the proper training. Please let us know if you have an interest in coaching your child's soccer team.

If interested in obtaining additional training for your child or team then please go to the Training page, there are numerous additional training opportunities for you and your team.

If interested in obtaining your coaching license please visit the Calendar Page to get information on upcoming training. Look at the orange tags labeled Coaches for training geared toward the team coach or assistant coach.

Prior to the start of each season MSA holds a mandatory coaches meeting. All coaches are required to attend this meeting. This is where each coach is given his team roster and at the end of the meeting coaches will have the opportunity to pick their practice fields and times. If you are a new coach make sure you have a team name picked out and turn this into your age group commissioner.

Players will be assigned teams through a random draft conducted by the MSA Board prior to the coaches meetings. Completed rosters will be handed out at that time.
