Important Registration
Information:
Please read the following page in its
entirety before accepting and proceeding to the online
registration page. If you have any questions concerning the
online registration process please click on the
Q & A link prior to calling the MSA
Office. Most of your answers will be answered on this page.
Online Registration is available for a month or more. If you
wait until the last moment to register and the site is down or
your computer has problems accessing the site and you can not
register your child before the deadline you will be charged the
$10 late fee. This is why MSA strongly recommends you register
early to help prevent any of these issues. MSA has been doing
online registrations for over five years now and has had very
little to no server down time. It is your responsibility to not
put off registration until the last moment.

Coaches Registration:
You will be
prompted for a credit card number, you must enter a valid credit
card number here. Nothing will be charged to the credit card,
this is for verification purposes only. Thanks for your
understanding.

Picking a
League:
You have three options - For the current season of Fall 2010 Recreation Soccer |

1.
First Touches Samba Soccer - This league
is for our youngest players U4 or 3 year olds - they
meet only on Sundays for 5 weeks, the uniform and ball
are included in the registration fees.
2.
Fall-2010 Recreational Boys & Girls -
This is the most common choice to select - with this we
will place your child on a team and they will play
soccer through MSA. The
registration fees for Recreational Soccer are the exact
same as Academy Soccer. If you are playing both
Recreational Soccer and Academy please sign up for your
Recreational team first and then contact the registrar
and your child will be copied over to the Academy
league. If you choose to play both you
only get charged the registration fee once. If you only
register for Recreational Soccer and then later decide
to pull your registration MSA will gladly refund your
registration fee minus a $10 processing fee.
3. Fall-2010
Academy Boys and Girls
- With this league your child WILL NOT be placed
on a team. The registration fees for Academy Soccer are the exact
same as Recreational Soccer. If you choose to play both
you only get charged the registration fee once. If an
Academy Team registers through MSA there is a $100 team
processing fee. That team may divide that fee between
the kids on the team. If you only register for Academy
Soccer and then later decide to pull your registration
MSA will gladly refund your registration fee minus a $10
processing fee.
4. Fall-2010
Competitive Boys and Girls
- This registration process should only be
performed by club team managers or coaches. |

You must now select the
Playing Age Group
in which your child is designated to play. North Texas
Soccer Association categorizes every child by its birth
year & gender. For example, a child born June 26, 1998
would be considered a '98. A child born September 28th,
1997 would also be considered a '98. Below we have
placed an age / birth chart to help you determine your
child's playing group.
Please
make sure you know this information before you begin the
registration process. |

Also, a child may choose to play recreational soccer and
academy soccer simultaneously. Most recreational games
are played on Saturdays with some exceptions; most
academy soccer games are played on Sundays. If your
child is choose to play both Recreational Soccer and
Academy Soccer please only register as a recreational
player, you will be asked in that registration process
if you want to also register for Academy Soccer. If you
register separately as a Recreational and an Academy
Soccer Player you will be charged twice. |

If a child wants to play Competitive Soccer, they must
forfeit playing Recreational Soccer. They cannot play
both. Also, if your child chooses to play competitive
soccer, they must go try out and must be given and
accept a club contract. All online registration for
competitive soccer should be done by the competitive
team's coach or manager. If you want more information
about the different leagues available to your child,

button on the left side of the previous page.
Please do
not register competitive players individually.

Costs include - Field use fees,
Referee fees, Supplemental Insurance, Trophies for
all kids U8 and below, Trophies for 1st and 2nd U9
and above, season patches, Friday Night Lights (open
skills play night every Friday night once the season
begins, Group skills training (in addition to
regular practice for those looking for extra
touches) with a professional coach. |

Uniforms - All
U5/U6 wear the same uniform
so once this purchase is made from MSA you do not
need to buy another one so long as your child is in
one of these age groups.
U7/U8 these are purchased
from MSA at the beginning of the U7 year and worn
until your child reaches their U9 year - so long as
they stay on the same team these do not need to be
re-purchased - players new to the league who are U7
or U8 will need to purchase a uniform kit - once we
know the team then the correct color will be ordered
for them and picked up from the coach.
U9 and above -
these uniforms are handled completely by the coaches
and so once you are contacted by a coach they can
give you the uniform information including cost and
how to order. |

to MSA - Select this option if your child has not
registered to play with MSA before
Returning Player - Go To Draft - Select this if your
child does not want to return to his previous team
or he/she has not registered to play in MSA in the
past two seasons.
Pick the team your child is returning to - Select
the team your child played either last season or the
preceding season with. |

Do you
wish for your child to play up in age group? Please
answer "No" to this question unless you want your
child to be on a team with kids a full year older
than him or her. |

Uniform
Information: This section should only be completed
if your child is new to Mansfield Soccer and/or is
playing at under 5 or 6 age group. If your child is
a returning player at this age they should already
have the proper uniform from their previous season.
All ages beyond Under 6 purchase their uniforms
independently through their team. |

Special
Request: This section can be used for a couple of
reasons. If your child is playing in the Under 5 or
6 age group they can request to play on the same
team as a friend. If there is room on that team MSA
will do everything in our power to honor those
request. Please understand this is not a guarantee.
Second if your child has only skipped playing one
season and wants to return to his or her previous
team they can make that request here. If their is
room on that team them MSA will return them to the
team. If your child has skipped more than one season
then they will be automatically placed back into the
draft. All new player U7 and above must go
into the draft/ |

Please
make sure you enter correct and accurate
information, especially at least one accurate and
good email address. MSA uses the email address to
communicate all kinds of upcoming events and
important information to those that are registered
to play. I am sorry but we do not call those that do
not list an email address, if you choose to not give
us that information then you simply will not receive
that information as we send it out. |

Attention Coaches' &
Volunteers - All coaches, assistant
coaches and volunteers are required to complete an
online Risk Management Form. This is different from
years past as we are now doing this online and it
must be completed by the coaches meeting. So
coaches' please be advised you need to register
online as a coach and then go to the Risk Management
link and fill out the online Risk Management
application as well. |

Walk-In Registration will be
continued until the end of registration at the MSA
Office anytime we have open office hours. During the
month of July - office hours will be posted weekly
as this is a vacation month. Those
hours are listed below, but please call before you
come in as Office Hours may change without prior
